Lacey Swing Dress

Friday, August 7, 2015

TGIF! If you've been reading a few of my recent posts, I've been talking about how I was getting all packed up and ready to move. Well, Aug 1st was the big day! I officially made my way in to the city. With all the unpacking and adjusting to the new place, I think I'm getting back on track with a great commute, regular blog posting schedule and more Instagrams (so..get ready for all of that!).

Before moving, I met up with the sweet Heidi over at Wishes and Reality to take some photos. This swing dress was a recent purchase from ASOS. You're in luck because this number is still on sale! I'm big on finding dresses I can dress up or down depending on the occasion. I decided to dress it up with a simple nude heel, a glitzy necklace and colorful clutch, but if I wanted a more casual look I could easily pair it with a cute sandal and my favorite Vera Bradley quilted backpack.

I'm all about the swing dress this season and especially heading in to fall. See more of my favorite swing options from ASOS here:

Thanks again for the photos, Heidi!

  1. Oh EM GEE! I love this look -- any time you pull out this clutch I just adore it but paired with that jaw-dropping necklace and those sheer lace accents on that dress? Positively perfect! And great shots, Heidi!!
