Work from Home Uniform

Friday, March 6, 2015

Let's be real - at the moment, I can typically be found working at home Mon-Fri (refer to this interview for more behind the scenes scoop!). Whether it's working on my blog, doing some graphic design prints/branding or just catching up on emails - it's usually done right from my desk. It's not everyday that I get my self put together and dressed up, but when I do, I find it helps me be more productive through out the day. Like the 'ol saying - dress for success! Then, I can officially reward myself with a nice big glass of wine :)

This week I'm sharing how I stay casual at home and how to add a touch of glam if you're headed out the door for a meeting or simply to run a few errands (aka "errands" at Target).

Have you downloaded your monthly blog planner yet? You get two sizes straight to your desktop for only $5!
When I'm ready to head out the door, I'll simply grab a light weight jacket, long cardigan or this adorable red poncho. These items are perfect for spring and layering up in the elements. Plus, the ruffles add a touch of dressy to my basic turtleneck and jeans.

One of my favorite necklaces from Shamelessly Sparkly, of course!
Shop My Look: Jersey Turtleneck (I got it for $5!) | April Marin Poncho c/o (available in cream)

How do you stay motivated while working from home? Has it inspired you to create something big? Share your exciting spring plans below so we can all send our support!

Thanks to my sweet friend Leisha for helping take photos and to Debi Lilly for letting me use her space at DLLoft!

  1. One should still get dressed up every day even if working from home :)
