Last night, - quick turn around, right? - I had the opportunity to attend the Think Pink Fundraiser featuring a presentation of Bloomingdale's fashion and Nicole Miller's fall/winter 2014 collection at the Four Season Hotel. The best part was the donations raised went to the Lynn Sage Foundation for breast cancer research in Chicago. A bunch of fabulous Chicago bloggers got in on the action and walked in the fashion show, however, unlike the last fashion show, I was just a spectator...which I'm more than ok with! It was a night full of lovely friends, fashion and pink!
While the event photos aren't super fun this time around (I totally missed getting a picture of the delicious pink desserts. boo.), I'm excited to share a full outfit recap with you all next week. Some really awesome photos are coming, people!
SPLASH is one of my favorite Chicago reads and was a sponsor for the event.
The fashion show was held right inside the Allium at the Four Seasons.
Even found some pink duckies swimming in the fountain!
The hostess with the mostest, Janet, from Fashion-a-Holic
A few of the pieces from the show!
Loved meeting up with this gal, Jennie, to celebrate the event.
Don't forget it's breast cancer awareness month. Now, more than ever, is the perfect time to do what you can to help support others who have or are currently battling this disease. And if you are battling or a survior of breast cancer, I know I speak for a lot of us, in that we are doing what we can to brighten your future. Take time to be selfish this month and make sure to get checked for early detection. Go pink!
