I was one lucky lady who got to attend the Miranda Lambert, Justin Moore, and Thomas Rhett concert at First Midwest Amphitheater this past Friday! The concert event was all part of The Illinois Lottery Anything's Possible® Music Series, that includes over 30 concerts, weekly prizes, and basically and unforgettable summer! How cool, right? After attending this concert I've decided a few things:
a.) If my current line of work doesn't pan out, maybe I'll just become a badass county music star like Miranda.
b.) If there are any Thomas Rhett look a likes out there... please send them my way. #stillsingle
c.) I'm defiantly going to play The Illinois Lottery more often!
One of the best things about country concerts is the casual environment. Don't get me wrong, I love a good Katy Perry show, but there's nothing like a nice summer night to go out, have a few drinks and enjoy some good 'ol country music with friends. Thomas Rhett wore his usual skinny jeans, a tee, and sported his Chicago pride with a Bulls hat while Justin Moore went for the sleeveless tee, jeans and cowboy hat. And of course Ms. Miranda had on some short leather shorts, a black sleeveless graphic tee and black boots. Now, I don't exactly measure up to Miranda's BA outfit and adorable hair... but I did wear a pair of one of my favorite jeans if that counts for anything!
Take a look at my country chic look below along with some highlights from this awesome opportunity!
|I kept my look simple. Don't need any extra accessories in my way while I'm dancing all night long!|
|Target Lace Top | Jeans (similar) | Old Navy Sandals (old) | Bracelet | Earrings | Purse (old)|
I literally just bought the lace top at Target, but can not find it online. Hmm...
|A friend gifted me these earrings for my birthday, but I couldn't tell you where they are from.|
I suggest trying Francesca's or Target if you're looking for something similar.
You can see the full line up of summer artists here and even enter for your chance at winning a flyaway round trip to a Live Nation® show and a $5,000 gift card. So what are you waiting for?
