MARCH RECAP

Thursday, April 3, 2014

I am in the process of coming up with new ideas for blog posts and I saw this idea from one of my favorite blogs, everyday chic. I'm Instagrams biggest fan (follow me!) so this post is perfect! March was pretty busy with midterms, deadlines before and after spring break, and the endless task of apply for post grad jobs (note the laptop and Panera coffee...). Speaking of spring break, I got the chance to go on an Alternative Spring Break trip with 12 other girls at my university on behalf of Circle of Sisterhood (which is based off the book Half the Sky) to Indianapolis for women and children's empowerment themed service. We worked with Girls Scouts, Girls Inc, The Julian Center, College Mentors for Kids, and even got to meet the founder of Circle of Sisterhood Ginny Carroll. This break was definitely one for the books! Other March highlights included finally seeing some green grass and blue skies, my favorite blog post about Karina and Katrina, and my oh so curly hair day! I hope everyone is starting off April with bang!
